In a class focused on drawing inspiration from art and our surroundings, I realized the potential of combining research with visual imagery. Despite being surrounded by the vibrant energy of London, I felt compelled to weave the narrative of my hometown, Ekaterinburg, into my work. In Ekaterinburg, everyday life intersects with the legacy of constructivist architecture.
But yet these iconic landmarks often go unnoticed amidst the city's bustling streets. Notably, landmarks like Ekaterinburg’s Iset Hotel and White Tower stand as silent witnesses to the city's history, though their significance remains underappreciated. Through my jewelry designs, I aim to celebrate Ekaterinburg's rich history and architectural heritage, shedding light on its overlooked treasures.
